Products and plans
What is included in your Clovie subscription, how it is billed, and what you see when a feature is not part of your plan.
Clovie is sold as products on a shared platform. Your organization's subscription decides which products you can use.
AI Governance
AI Governance is the product this documentation covers. It registers your AI agents, enforces policies on their traffic through the gateway, and attributes every token of AI spend. It includes the agent registry, discovery, policies and approvals, models and keys, costs and budgets, compliance reporting and the activity and audit logs.
The platform
Every subscription includes the platform that the products share:
- Identity & Access: users, groups, single sign-on, SCIM provisioning and multi-factor authentication.
- Settings and projects for organizing people and work.
- Audit logs of sign-ins and administrative changes.
- Billing for SaaS customers, or licence management for self-hosted installs.
When something is not in your plan
If your organization does not have a product, its pages are hidden from the navigation. If you follow a link to one of them, you see a page that says the product is not included in your plan, with a short description of what it does. Contact your Clovie account team to add it.
How Clovie SaaS is billed
With Clovie SaaS, you pay a monthly platform fee plus the tokens Clovie uses on your behalf. You see the details in Manage → Billing:
- Overview shows the platform fee, the tokens used this period, spend so far and projected spend.
- Invoices lists your invoices, with a PDF of each.
- Plan and payment shows your plan and payment method. You can pay by card or by invoice. Token rates lists the price per million tokens for each volume tier, and any volume discount that applies to you.
Anyone in your organization can see billing. Only organization administrators can set up or change how you pay.
Model provider costs
Model providers bill you directly for the requests your agents make with your provider keys. Clovie's cost reports show those costs so you can track and allocate them; see Budgets and price books.
Self-hosted licences
A self-hosted install runs on a signed licence file. The licence says which products are included, how many agents and developer keys you may register, and when it expires. It is checked entirely inside your network and never calls back to Clovie. Changing products means installing a new licence. See Choose SaaS or self-hosted.
